The Ski Classics Challengers event Ring Frei, a long-distance roller ski race in freestyle, took place today in Salzburg, Austria. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event Ring Frei, a long-distance roller ski race in freestyle, took place today in Salzburg, Austria. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers Ring Frei saw Alex Brandner, WSV Bischofswiesen, and Viktoria Olekh win the event with solid performances.

Ring Frei – Men’s Race

In the men’s 42km competition, the winner was Alex Brandner, WSV Bischofswiesen, with a total time of 1:20:07.1.

Florian Döringer, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, finished in second place, 1:27.5 behind, followed by Aleksandr Zarovnyi, Fischer, 6:26.7 back, and completing the podium in the third position.

Ring Frei – Women’s Race

In the women’s 30km race, Viktoria Olekh won with a total time of 1:02:41.7.

Nicole Donzallaz, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, finished in second place, 1.1 seconds back. Eva Schmidhofer, also from the Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, finished in third place, 1.5 seconds behind the winner.

As the Ring Frei is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
