The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57.1km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57.1km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

After a full day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race saw Phillip Bellingham and Iris Pessey, representing Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, winning their respective second-day races.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner of day 2 was Phillip Bellingham, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, completing the race in a time of 3:51:58.0.

Martin Møller, Rossignol, finished in second place, with a total time of 3:54:08.0, followed by Kristian Kristoffersen, KJ Greenland/HR, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 4:32:27.0.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Top 3 Men

  1. Phillip Bellingham, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, 3:51:58.0
  2. Martin Møller, Rossignol, +2:10.0
  3. Kristian Kristoffersen, KJ Greenland/HR, +40:29.0

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Iris Pessey, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, with a total time of 5:07:42.0. 

Emilie Blak, finished in second place, with a time of 5:13:48.0, followed by Line Lyngbak Jensen, with a total time of 5:13:49.0, and completing the podium in the third position. 

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Top 3 Women

  1. Iris Pessey, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, 5:07:42.0
  2. Emilie Blak, +6:06.0
  3. Line Lyngbak Jensen, +6:07.0

As Arctic Circle Race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
