The Ski Classics Challengers event, Tana-Varangerrennet, took place this Saturday with a 46km long-distance classic technique race in Tana, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Norway, Tana-Varangerrennet, saw Henrik Arntzen Joks, Team Sjusjøen Langløp, and Franziska Skogsholm, Kirkenes, win their respective races with solid performances.

Tana-Varangerrennet – Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Henrik Arntzen Joks, Team Sjusjøen Langløp, with a total time of 2:06:21.0.

Marius Bernhardsen, IL Polarstjern/SNN, finished in second place, 8:32.3 back, followed by Geir Lervik, Gjesdal IL, 9:12.7 behind the winner, and completed the podium in third place.

  2. Marius Bernhardsen, IL Polarstjern/SNN, +8:32.3

Tana-Varangerrennet – Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Franziska Skogsholm, Kirkenes, completed the race at 2:46:48.2.

Åshild Nordbotten, Hammerfest Skiklubb, finished in second place, 21:45.9 behind, followed by Monica Wickstrøm, Polarstjernen, who completed the podium in third position, 23:28.4 back.
