The Biathlon World Cup is now underway, with the first individual women’s competitions taking place on Wednesday.
Check out who the world’s fastest biathletes are!
The World Cup began this weekend with various relays: mixed relays on Saturday and women’s and men’s relays on Sunday. Now it’s time for the individual competitions. The men were up first with their 15 km short individual race on Tuesday afternoon, while the women will compete in their 12.5 km short individual race on Wednesday afternoon.
Last winter, Lisa Vittozzi from Italy won the overall World Cup, while Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold finished third overall and also claimed the sprint cup. But who is truly the fastest biathlete? The best shooter? And how do the Norwegian women stack up?
