Swedish biathlon star claims 12.5km Pursuit gold at Milano-Cortina 2026

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the men’s 12.5km Pursuit. Check out the results.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the men’s 12.5km Pursuit. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and shooting range, Sweden’s Martin Ponsiluoma claimed the Olympic 12.5km Pursuit gold in Italy.

Ponsiluoma, from Sweden, stopped the clock at 31:11.9, with one missed shot, and claimed the gold medal.

Sturla Holm Lægreid, from Norway, finished second to secure the silver medal, 20.6 seconds back, and with two missed shots. France’s Emilien Jacquelin completed the podium in third place, 29.7 seconds behind the winner, with three missed shots, and took the bronze medal.

Eric Perrot, from France, and Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, from Norway, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
