The biathlon World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Annecy – Le Grand Bornand, France, with the women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and at the shooting range, Sweden’s Hanna Öberg secured the sprint victory in France.

Hanna Öberg (SWE) claimed first place in the 7.5km Sprint race in Annecy – Le Grand Bornand, finishing in 19:24.9 and with clean shooting.

Lou Jeanmonnot (FRA) finished second, 3.3 seconds back with clean shooting. Dorothea Wierer (ITA) completed the podium in third place, 11.4 seconds behind the winner, and with clean shooting.

After Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), the biathlon World Cup continues in Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpolding (Germany), Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic), and Antholz–Anterselva (Italy) for the Winter Olympic Games. The post-Olympic stages will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Otepää (Estonia). The 2025/2026 World Cup season ends in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway).
