Norwegian biathlon star claims 7.5km Sprint gold at Milano-Cortina 2026

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and shooting range, Norway’s Maren Kirkeeide claimed the Olympic 7.5km Sprint gold in Italy.

Kirkeeide stopped the clock at 20:40.86, with clean shooting, and claimed the gold medal.

Oceane Michelon, from France, finished second to secure the silver medal, 3.8 seconds back, and with clean shooting. Lou Jeanmonnot, also from France, completed the podium in third place, 23.7 seconds behind the winner, with one missed shot, and took the bronze medal.

Milena Todorova, from Bulgaria, and Lisa Vittozzi, from Italy, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
