The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Ruka, Finland, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the men’s results.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) took first place in the men’s sprint race in classic technique at the World Cup premiere in Ruka, Finland. Complete results from the men’s event.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) won today’s sprint race with a total time of 2:25.25.

Erik Valnes (NOR) snagged second place, 2.01 seconds back, and Lauri Vuorinen (FIN) completed the podium in third place, 3.70 seconds behind the winner.

Facts Ruka World Cup Season 2024/2025

Ruka, Finland, is the place for this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup premiere. The event started on Friday, November 29, with a 10km interval start race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 30, a sprint race in classic technique awaited. And on Sunday, December 1, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique.
