Italian star claims 10km Pursuit gold on home snow at Milano-Cortina 2026

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 10km Pursuit. Check out the results.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the women’s 10km Pursuit. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and shooting range, Italy’s Lisa Vittozzi claimed the Olympic 10km Pursuit gold in Italy.

Vittozzi stopped the clock at 30:11.8, with clean shooting, and claimed the gold medal.

Maren Kirkeeide, from Norway, finished second to secure the silver medal, 28.8 seconds back, and with three missed shots. Suvi Minkkinen, from Finland, completed the podium in third place, 34.3 seconds behind the winner, with clean shooting, and took the bronze medal.

Lou Jeanmonnot and Oceane Michelon, from France, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
