The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Obertilliach, Austria, with a 12km mass start 60 race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Stefanie Scherer, from Germany, won the event with a solid performance.

Stefanie Scherer, from Germany, took first place in the women’s 12km mass start 60 race in Obertilliach, Austria, with a total time of 36:11.1 and clean shooting (0-0-0-0).

Paula Botet, from France, snagged second place, 5.8 seconds back, and two missed shots (2-0-0-0). Camille Bened, also from France, completed the podium in third place, 20.1 seconds behind the winner and two missed shots (1-0-0-1).

After Obertilliach, the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Germany (Arber), Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
