The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Geilo, Norway, with a 10km pursuit race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Marlene Fichtner, from Germany, won the event with a solid performance.

The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Geilo, Norway, with a 10km pursuit race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Marlene Fichtner, from Germany, won the event with a solid performance.

Marlene Fichtner, from Germany, took first place in the women’s 10km pursuit race in Geilo, Norway, with a total time of 30:22.2 and clean shooting (0-0-0-0).

Chloe Chevalier, from France, snagged second place, 24.5 seconds back, and two missed shots (0-0-1-1). Paula Botet, also from France, completed the podium in third place, 35.2 seconds behind the winner and four misses (2-0-1-1).

After Geilo, the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Austria (Obertilliach), Germany (Arber), Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
