The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia, with a 7.5km sprint event for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Marthe Krakstad Johansen, from Norway, won the event with a solid performance.

Marthe Krakstad Johansen, from Norway, took first place in the women’s 7.5km sprint race in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia, with a total time of 19:53.4 and clean shooting (0-0).

Voldiya Galmace Paulin, from France, snagged second place, 7.6 seconds back, and also clean shooting (0-0). Karoline Erdal, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 26.1 seconds behind the winner and two missed shots (0-2).

After Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
