The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia, with a 12.5km short individual event for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Karoline Erdal, from Norway, won the event with a solid performance.

The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia, with a 12.5km short individual event for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Karoline Erdal, from Norway, won the event with a solid performance.

Karoline Erdal, from Norway, took first place in the women’s 12.5km short individual race in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia, with a total time of 38:00.2 and one missed shot (0-0-1-0).

Voldiya Galmace Paulin, from France, snagged second place, 9.9 seconds back, and one missed shot (0-0-0-1). Anastasiya Merkushyna, from Ukraine, completed the podium in third place, 48.4 seconds behind the winner and clean shooting (0-0-0-0).

After Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
