The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Geilo, Norway, with a 20km individual race for men. After a solid battle in the men’s event, Isak Frey (NOR) won the race.

Isak Frey, from Norway, took first place today in the men’s 20km individual race in Geilo, Norway, with a total time of 48:06.3 and one missed shot (0-1-0-0).

Johan-Olav Botn, also from Norway, snagged second place, 7.5 seconds back, and one penalty (0-0-0-1). Simon Kaiser, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 59.8 seconds behind the winner and one missed shot (0-1-0-0).

After Geilo, the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Austria (Obertilliach), Germany (Arber), Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
