The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Geilo, Norway, with a 15km individual race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, French biathlete Camille Bened won the event with a solid performance.

Camille Bened, from France, took first place in the women’s 15km individual biathlon race in Geilo, Norway, with a total time of 44:41.3 and clean shooting (0-0-0-0).

Marit Oeygard, from Norway, snagged second place, 42.2 seconds back and one missed shot (0-0-0-1). Fany Bertrand, from France, completed the podium in third place, 55.9 seconds behind the winner and no penalties (0-0-0-0).

After Geilo, the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Austria (Obertilliach), Germany (Arber), Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
