The biathlon World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Östersund, Sweden, with the men’s 12.5km Pursuit. Check out the results.

After a composed and decisive performance, France’s Quentin Fillon Maillet claimed the Pursuit victory at the World Cup in Sweden.

Quentin Fillon Maillet (FRA) secured the win in the 12.5km Pursuit event, stopping the clock at 30:14.5 with two missed shots.

Sebastian Samuelsson (SWE) finished second, 6.7 seconds back and also two misses at the shooting range, while Johan-Olav Botn (NOR) completed the podium in third place, 10.3 seconds behind after two missed shots.

After Östersund, the biathlon World Cup continues in Hochfilzen (Austria), then Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), before heading to Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpolding (Germany), Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic), and Antholz–Anterselva (Italy) for the Winter Olympic Games. The post-Olympic stages will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Otepää (Estonia). The 2025/2026 World Cup season ends in Oslo, Holmenkollen (Norway).
