French biathlon star claims 10km Sprint gold at Milano-Cortina 2026

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the men’s 10km Sprint. Check out the results.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the biathletes in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, with the men’s 10km Sprint. Check out the results.

After a solid performance on the tracks and shooting range, France’s Quentin Fillon Maillet claimed the Olympic 10km Sprint gold in Italy.

Fillon Maillet, from France, stopped the clock at 22:53.1, with clean shooting, and claimed the gold medal.

Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, from Norway, finished second to secure the silver medal, 13.7 seconds back, and with no missed shots. Norway’s Sturla Holm Lægreid completed the podium in third place, 15.9 seconds behind the winner, with clean shooting, and took the bronze medal.

Emilien Jacquelin, from France, and Sebastian Samuelsson, from Sweden, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
