France secures mixed relay victory in Östersund
The biathlon World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Östersund, Sweden, with the mixed relay. Check out the results.
After dominating the tracks and shooting range, France claimed the first mixed relay victory of the winter.
France (Emilien Jacquelin, Eric Perrot, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Lou Jeanmonnot) took first place in the mixed relay race in Östersund, finishing in 1:05:16.5.
Italy (Tommaso Giacomel, Lukas Hofer, Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi) snagged second place, 25.2 seconds back.
Norway (Endre Stroemsheim, Johan-Olav Botn, Karoline Offigstad Knotten, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold) completed the podium in third place, 1:05.3 behind the winning team.

After Östersund, the biathlon World Cup continues in Hochfilzen (Austria), then Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), before heading to Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpolding (Germany), Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic), and Antholz–Anterselva (Italy) for the Winter Olympic Games. The post-Olympic stages will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Otepää (Estonia). The 2025/2026 World Cup season ends in Oslo Holmenkollen (Norway).
