The Finnish Biathlon Federation has announced its A National Team for the 2025 training season.

According to the Finnish Biathlon Federation press release, the Finnish biathlon squad will begin preparations for the upcoming Winter Olympics with training camps both in Finland and abroad. A key focus will be on high-altitude training, as the Olympic biathlon events will take place in the mountainous terrain of Antholz-Anterselva, Italy.

After a successful 2024/2025 season, Finland’s top biathletes are now turning their attention to Olympic success on Italian snow. Suvi Minkkinen emerged as one of the standout names last season, claiming a bronze medal in the sprint at the World Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Tero Seppälä delivered a strong ninth-place finish at the mass start, while Olli Hiidensalo impressed with a fourth place in the individual competition.
