The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Hochfilzen, Austria, with the 12.5km pursuit race. After a solid battle in the men’s event, the Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bø won the race.

The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Hochfilzen, Austria, with the 12.5km pursuit race. After a solid battle in the men’s event, the Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bø won the race.

Johannes Thingnes Bø, from Norway, took first place today at the men’s 12.5km pursuit race in Hochfilzen with a total time of 32:16.5 and two missed shots (0-0-1-1).

Emilien Jacquelin, from France, snagged second place, 3.5 seconds back, and one missed shot (0-0-0-1). Sturla Holm Lægreid, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 3.8 seconds behind the winner and one miss (0-0-0-1).

After Hochfilzen (Austria), the biathlon World Cup heads to Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpoldhing (Germany), Antholz-Anterselva (Italy), Lenzerheide (Switzerland) for the World Championships, Nove Mesto Na Morave (Czech Republic), and Pokljuka (Slovenia). Then, the 2024/2025 World Cup season ends in Oslo (Norway).
