Biathlon World Cup: Sweden wins women’s relay in Kontiolahti

The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Kontiolahti, Finland, with relays for the women and men. After a good fight and a dramatic last lap, Sweden won the women’s event.

Sweden (Anna Magnusson, Sara Andersson, Hanna Öberg, Elvira Öberg) took first place today in the 4x6km relay race for women in Kontiolahti, Finland, with a total time of 1:17:09.0.

France (Lou Jeanmonnot, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Sophie Chauveau, Julia Simon) snagged second place 29.0 seconds back. Norway (Juni Arnekleiv, Karoline Offigstad Knotten, Maren Kirkeeide, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold) completed the podium in third place, 36.2 seconds behind the winning team.

Then, the 2024/2025 World Cup season ends in Oslo (Norway).
