The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Kontiolahti, Finland, with the 12.5km mass start race. After a solid performance in the women’s event, Elvira Öberg, from Sweden, won the race.

The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Kontiolahti, Finland, with the 12.5km mass start race. After a solid performance in the women’s event, Elvira Öberg, from Sweden, won the race.

Elvira Öberg, from Sweden, took first place today at the women’s 12.5km mass start race in Kontiolahti with a total time of 35:58.6 and two missed shots (1-1-0-0).

Julia Simon, from France, snagged second place, 16.2 seconds back, and two missed shots (1-1-0-0). Franziska Preuss, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 19.1 seconds behind the winner and also two misses (1-0-0-1).

Then, the 2024/2025 World Cup season ends in Oslo (Norway).
