Biathlon World Championships: Öberg wins 12.5km Mass Start in Lenzerheide

The biathlon World Championships 2025 ends today in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, with the 12.5km Mass Start race. After a solid performance in the women’s event, Elvira Öberg, from Sweden, won the race.

Elvira Öberg, from Sweden, took first place today at the women’s 12.5km mass start race at the World Championships in Lenzerheide with a total time of 40:32.3 and two missed shots (1-1-0-0).

Oceane Michelon, from France, snagged second place, 9.4 seconds back, and three missed shots (1-1-1-0). Maren Kirkeeide, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 16.5 seconds behind the winner and three missed shots (2-0-1-0).
