The IBU Youth and Junior Biathlon World Championships 2025 continued this Sunday in Östersund, Sweden, with the 7.5km/10km sprint for junior women and junior men. Check out the results.

The IBU Youth and Junior Biathlon World Championships 2025 continued this Sunday in Östersund, Sweden, with the 7.5km/10km sprint for junior women and junior men. Check out the results.

Anna Andexer, from Austria, and Haavard Tosterud, from Norway, took first place in the youth 6km/7.5km sprint races at the IBU Youth Junior Biathlon World Championships in Östersund, Sweden. Complete results from the youth event.

JUNIOR WOMEN – 7.5KM SPRINT

Anna Andexer, from Austria, showed her form and won the 7.5km sprint race with a total time of 22:22.0 and one missed shot (0-1).

Sara Andersson, from Sweden, snagged second place, 8.9 seconds back, and one missed shot (0-1). Amandine Mengin, from France, completed the podium in third place, 30.7 seconds behind the winner and one missed shot (0-1).

JUNIOR MEN – 10KM SPRINT

Haavard Tosterud, from Norway, showed his form and won today’s 10km sprint race with a total time of 26:33.6 and clean shooting (0-0).

Jakub Borgula, from Slovakia, snagged second place, 33.4 seconds back, and clean shooting (0-0). Petr Hak, from the Czech Republic, completed the podium in third place, 37.4 seconds behind the winner and clean shooting (0-0).
