The Ski Classics Challengers event, Värnamorullen, took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with a classic long-distance roller ski event in Värnamo, Sweden.

Värnamorullen 2026 

The Ski Classics Challengers event Värnamorullen, a 40km long-distance roller ski race in classic technique, took place today in Värnamo, Sweden. Check out the results. 

After a day filled with action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Värnamorullen saw Lauri Mannila, Team Edux, and Johanna Hagström, Ulricehamns IF, win the race with solid performances. 

Värnamorullen Men’s Race – 40km 

In the men’s competition, Lauri Manilla, Team Edux, won with a total time of 1:39:43.7. In a tight sprint, Alfred Buskqvist, IK Stern, finished in second place, 19.5 seconds behind the winner, closely followed by Johannes Eklöf, Ski Team Göhlins, 19.6 seconds back, and completed the podium in the third position.  

Men’s Top 3 

  1. Lauri Manilla, Team Edux, 1:39:43.7 
  2. Alfred Buskqvist, IK Stern, +19.5 
  3. Johannes Eklöf, Ski Team Göhlins, +19.6

Värnamorullen Women’s Race – 40km 

In the women’s race, Johanna Hagström, Ulricehamns IF, came in first place with a total time of 1:54:15.2, followed by Moa Hansson, Lager 157 Skiteam, 12.0 seconds back in second place. Hedda Bångman, Team Burger King Northug, finished 1:05.7 minutes behind the winner in third place. 

Women’s Top 3 

  1. Johanna Hagström, Ulricehamns IF, 1:54:15.2 
  2. Moa Hansson, Lager 157 Skiteam, +12.0 
  3. Hedda Bångman, Team Burger King Northug, + 1:05.7

As Värnamorullen is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
