Who is Frida Karlsson’s new boyfriend?
Frida Karlsson, 26, has publicly introduced her new boyfriend. This has been known among close circles for a while but is now official. The chosen one is 30-year-old actor Simon Lööf.
The couple was previously spotted at the Elle Gala in Sweden, and now they are together in Borgholm on Öland, where Frida received the Victoria Prize on Tuesday.
According to Expressen, the ski star is there with her family and her new boyfriend Simon Lööf. She reveals to Svensk damtidning that the two have been a couple “for a while” and that she is now happy to have her boyfriend by her side when she meets the royals to receive the prestigious Victoria Prize.
Simon Lööf is a Swedish actor known for his roles in the Swedish TV series “Eagles,” “Threesome,” and “Hundarna.” He has also appeared in the American feature film “In the Lost Lands” from 2025. Previously, Lööf was a skilled ice hockey player, having played one game in the SHL (Sweden’s top league) for Karlskrona HK during the 2015/2016 season.
Frida Karlsson was in a long-term relationship with national team colleague William Poromaa, but that relationship ended in the spring of 2023. The ski star is receiving the Victoria Prize for her significant achievements at the Olympics in Val di Fiemme last winter.
