The Ski Classics World Championship Season XVII concluded with the Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja, and the final standings in the Climb competition are confirmed.

The Climb competition rewards the strongest climbers across the Pro Tour, with points awarded at designated Climb checkpoints during each event.

The squared patterned “Lumberjack” Climb bib is worn by the men’s and women’s athletes leading the Climb standings before each event. There are zero to two Climb checkpoints in each event, where the seven fastest men and the seven fastest women earn points. The overall winners are the athletes with the most Climb points at the end of the season in each gender.

Torleif Syrstad, Team Engcon, secured the Climb title for Season XVII with a total of 172 points, finishing just ahead of Kasper Stadaas, Team Aker Dæhlie, who claimed second place with 163 points. Amund Riege, Team Aker Dæhlie, completed the podium in third place with 149 points, underlining a tight battle among the top contenders throughout the season.

Further down the standings, Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, finished fourth with 96 points, closely followed by Einar Kalland-Olsen, Lager 157 Ski Team, with 95 points in fifth place, highlighting the depth of strong climbers in the men’s field.

On the women’s side, Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, secured the Climb title with 245 points in a closely contested battle. Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, finished just one point behind in second place with 244 points, while Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, completed the podium in third place with 208 points.

Behind the top three, Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon, placed fourth with 113 points, followed by Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge, in fifth place with 103 points, as several athletes delivered consistent performances across the season’s climbs.

The results highlight the importance of climbing strength in Ski Classics, with Torleif Syrstad and Silje Øyre Slind standing out as the strongest climbers of Season XVII.
