The cross-country World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Lake Placid, USA, with a freestyle sprint race. Here are the women’s results.

Linn Svahn (SWE) delivered a solid performance in the women’s freestyle sprint, claiming victory at the Lake Placid World Cup – complete results from the event.

Linn Svahn, from Sweden, secured the win in a close final with a time of 2:52.58.

Jonna Sundling, also from Sweden, finished second, 0.46 seconds behind, while Maja Dahlqvist rounded out the Swedish podium in third place, 1.54 seconds back.
