The cross-country World Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Ruka, Finland, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Here are the women’s results.

Kristine Stavås Skistad (NOR) delivered a dominant performance in the women’s classic sprint, claiming victory at the Ruka World Cup – complete results from the event.

Kristine Stavås Skistad, from Norway, secured the win in a tight final with a time of 2:53.22.

Jonna Sundling, from Sweden, finished second, just 0.20 seconds behind, while Maja Dahlqvist, from Sweden, rounded out the podium in third place, 0.20 seconds back.

After Ruka, the World Cup heads to Norway (Trondheim). Then, to Switzerland (Davos) and the Tour de Ski (Italy). This period is followed by competitions in January in Germany (Oberhof) and Switzerland (Goms).

Then, it’s time for the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games from February 7 to 22, 2026.

After Milano-Cortina, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Sweden (Falun), Finland (Lahti), Norway (Drammen-Oslo), and the USA (Lake Placid).
