The Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend has its third and final day today with a 10km interval start event in freestyle technique, and you can follow all the action live on the streaming service SC Play from 8:45 CET with English commentary.

The Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend has its third and final day today with a 10km interval start event in freestyle technique, and you can follow all the action live on the streaming service SC Play from 8:45 CET with English commentary.

Muonio, Finland, is hosting one of the first major traditional cross-country skiing races of the 2025/2026 winter season. The program began on Friday, November 14, with a sprint race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 15, the athletes lined up for a 10km classic interval start, and on Sunday, November 16, the weekend concludes with a 10km freestyle race.

All races are streamed live – and available to watch on demand – on SC Play, which holds exclusive broadcasting rights in every country except Finland. Kjell-Erik Kristiansen provided English commentary on Friday, and Teemu Virtanen on Saturday and Sunday.

The race weekend in northern Finland features a compact and high-profile program:

November 14, Friday – Sprint Classic (More information can be found HERE and HERE)

  • 8:45 CET: Broadcast start
  • 9:00 CET: Qualification
  • BREAK
  • 11:00 CET: Heats/finals

November 15, Saturday: 10km Interval Start Classic (More information can be found HERE)

  • 8:45 CET: Broadcast start
  • 9:00 CET: Women’s race first, followed immediately by the Men’s

November 16, Sunday: 10km Interval Start Freestyle (More information can be found HERE)

  • 8:45 CET: Broadcast start
  • 9:00 CET: Women’s race first, followed immediately by the Men’s

All races will be streamed live and available for replay on SC Play, which holds exclusive broadcasting rights in all countries except Finland.
