This Norwegian Pro Team is gearing up for another season in the Ski Classics Pro Tour. After securing 31st place in the Pro Team ranking during Season XVI, Team Burger King Northug enters the upcoming winter with a redesigned roster and big ambitions.

This Norwegian Pro Team is gearing up for another season in the Ski Classics Pro Tour. After securing 31st place in the Pro Team ranking during Season XVI, Team Burger King Northug enters the upcoming winter with a redesigned roster and big ambitions.

Founded three seasons ago by the legendary Petter Northug Jr., the team draws on his storied career, including 13 World Championship gold medals and two Olympic gold medals. His winning legacy underpins the team’s competitive mindset.

Team Burger King Northug focuses heavily on Norwegian talent while incorporating a Scandinavian touch with one athlete from Sweden on the roster.

For Season XVII, the team fields eight Pro Team athletes, four women and four men: Hedda Bångman (1995), Julie Victoria Berg (1997), Fanny Marie Moeller Endresen (1993), Maren Engeskaug Nielsen (1995), Petter Northug Jr. (1986), Magnus Waaler (1993), Emil Gukild (1992), Joar Andreas Thele (1993).

According to the Pro Team Director, Tommas Northug: ” The purpose and goal for Team Burger King Northug is to be the most attractive and engaging team for athletes, fans, and the public. We want to inspire passion and excitement for sport by combining top athletes and talents with entertainment and show.
