The second day of the Blink Festival in Norway featured the prestigious 50-kilometer-long Blink Classics on Thursday evening, where Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, claimed an impressive victory. 

The second day of the Blink Festival in Norway featured the prestigious 50-kilometer-long Blink Classics on Thursday evening, where Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, claimed an impressive victory. 

The 50-kilometer roller ski event, held in classic technique with start and finish in Ålgård, brought together one of the strongest starting fields in event history. Ski Classics Pro Team athletes went head-to-head with World Cup skiers, continuing the Blink Festival’s tradition of blending long-distance and traditional cross-country talent.

In the women’s competition, Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, won the race with a total time of 2:17:21.5.

Lotta Udnes Weng, from Norway, finished in second place, 4:04.7 behind the winner, and Laura Gimmler, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 4:04.9 back.

On Friday, a 10/15 kilometers mass start race awaits the cross-country skiers, and a super sprint for the biathletes. On Saturday, a sprint race for the cross-country skiers and a mass start for the biathletes.
