Tossavainen and Nissinen winners at Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle 2025

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle, took place this Sunday with a 62km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Lahti, Finland. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle, took place this Sunday with a 62km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Lahti, Finland. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Finland, Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Juuso Tossavainen and Vilma Nissinen won their respective races with solid performances.

Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle – 62km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Juuso Tossavainen, completed the race in a time of 2:42:12.0.

Remi Lindholm finished in second place, 1.0 seconds behind, followed by Lauri Lepistö, completing the podium in third position and 2.6 seconds back.

Finlandia Ski Marathon Freestyle – 62km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Vilma Nissinen completing the event in a total time of 3:06:52.0.

Rebecca Immonen finished in second place, 4.0 seconds back, followed by Anna-Kaisa Saari, 46.0 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
