Second place at Vasaloppet last year, Marit Bjørgen goes to the season opening in Orsa Grönklitt this Saturday and Sunday.

During the Visma Ski Classics Season XI last winter, Marit Bjørgen went to Vasaloppet and then finished second behind Lina Korsgren.

There will be more races like that this winter. The cross country ski queen is confirmed to race the Visma Ski Classics season opening in Orsa Grönklitt on Saturday and Sunday.

Marit Bjørgen, who skis for the brothers Auckland’s Team Ragde Charge, had announced the start in five races this winter. Now it looks like there will be more. Team manager Magnar Dalen has confirmed that Bjørgen is on the starting line in Orsa Grönklitt both on Saturday’s Pro Team Tempo and on Sunday’s Individual Prologue.
