Emma Ribom secured first place in the women’s sprint race in classic technique for Sweden at the Östersund cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the sprint race.

Emma Ribom, from Sweden, took first place at the Östersund sprint race in classic technique with a total time of 3:38.88. The Swedish cross-country skier was followed by Kristine Stavås Skistad, from Norway, 0.60 seconds back.

Linn Svahn, from Sweden, completed the podium in third place, 0.81 seconds behind the winner. 

Rosie Brenna, from the United States of America, and her teammate Jessie Diggins, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
