Lotta Udnes Weng secured first place in the women’s race for Norway at the Tour de Ski stage 5. Results from the women’s sprint race in classic technique.

Lotta Udnes Weng took home first place today at the Tour de Ski stage 5 in a complete Norwegian podium. Tiril Udnes Weng snagged second place, 0.35 seconds behind.

Mathilde Myhrvold completed the podium in third place, 0.67 seconds behind the winner.

The Pro Tour athlete Astrid Øyre Slind (NOR), Team Aker Dæhlie, had a strong sprint performance and made to the semifinals, finishing on the 9^th position.  Now, Øyre Slind is 8th overall, 2:35 behind Karlsson.

The 15km mass start race in classic technique on Saturday, for both women and men, is the next event for the Tour de Ski 2022/2023.
