Harald Østberg Amundsen (NOR) took first place in the men’s 20km mass start race in freestyle technique at the World Cup premiere in Ruka, Finland. Complete results from the men’s event.

Harald Østberg Amundsen (NOR) won today’s mass start race in Ruka with a total time of 46:04.0.

Jan Thomas Jenssen (NOR) snagged second place 0.9 seconds back, and Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget (NOR) completed the podium in third place, 1.9 seconds behind the winner.

Facts Ruka World Cup Season 2024/2025

Ruka, Finland, is the place for this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup premiere. The event started on Friday, November 29, with a 10km interval start race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 30, a sprint race in classic technique awaited. And on Sunday, December 1, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique.
