Iivo Niskanen (FIN) took first place in the men’s 10km interval start race in classic technique at the World Cup premiere in Ruka, Finland. Complete results from the men’s event.

Iivo Niskanen (FIN) showed his early season form and won today’s 10km classic race with a total time of 23:00.6.

Harald Østberg Amundsen (NOR) snagged second place, 12.5 seconds back, and Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget (NOR) completed the podium in third place, 14.1 seconds behind the winner.

Facts Ruka World Cup Season 2024/2025

Ruka, Finland, is the place for this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup premiere. The event started on Friday, November 29, with a 10km interval start race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 30, a sprint race in classic technique awaits. And on Sunday, December 1, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique.
