Klæbo wins sprint at the Lillehammer World Cup

The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Lillehammer with a sprint race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the men’s results.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, took first place in the men’s sprint race in freestyle technique at the cross-country World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway. Complete results from the men’s event.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, showed his form and won today’s sprint race with a total time of 2:32.64.

Even Northug, also from Norway, snagged second place, 1.22 seconds back, and Federico Pellegrino, from Italy, completed the podium in third place, 1.57 seconds behind the winner.

FACTS Lillehammer World Cup Season 2024/2025

Lillehammer, Norway, is the place for the second stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2024/2025. The event starts on Friday, December 6, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique. On Saturday, December 7, it’s time for a sprint race in freestyle technique. And on Sunday, December 8, the World Cup in Lillehammer ends with a 20km skiathlon race.
