Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, fresh off a flawless performance at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim, now celebrates a personal milestone – he is engaged to his long-time partner, Pernille Døsvik.

The couple Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Pernille Døsvik announced their engagement on social media, sharing a photo of the ring with the caption: “2025 just keeps getting better and better.”

The proposal took place at their cabin in Skeikampen, a scenic mountain destination in Norway. Alongside a joyful photo, Klæbo revealed a personal detail – his heart rate spiked to 175 beats per minute during the moment, a number more commonly seen in racing than in romance.

Already one of the sport’s most successful athletes, Klæbo claimed all the gold medals he competed for at the home World Championships earlier this year. Now, his winning streak continues off the tracks.
