Germany wins the women’s Team Sprint at the Lahti World Cup

Germany I (Laura Gimmler and Coletta Rydzek) won the women’s team sprint today at the World Cup in Lahti, with a total time of 18:22.32.

Sweden I (Johanna Hagström and Maja Dahlqvist) finished in second place, 0.17 seconds behind the winners. Switzerland I (Anja Weber and Nadine Fähndrich) completed the podium in third place, 0.73 seconds back. 

Norway I (Julie Myhre and Elena Rise Johnsen) and Italy (Caterina Ganz and Federica Cassol) rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
