New in 2022, the Sovereign2SilverStar Ski Marathon is a weekend of events celebrating the great late season snow in Vernon, BC, Canada. Enjoy point to the party event, great trails, and snow at Sovereign Lake Nordic Club and SilverStar Mountain Resort and then stay and play in the valleys of British Columbia, where spring is well underway.

There is also 21km point to party events each day to complement the more challenging 40km events.

The vision “Is to create an international ski marathon destination that will allow participants to ski from point to party and then stay to play in the Okanagan,” says Ian Jenkins, Director of Marketing and Sales for SilverStar Mountain.

“Such an incredible event can’t happen without the great support of the volunteer community. It’s exciting to see how the entire ski community is turning out to show off our fantastic skiing to the rest of the world,” said Pat Van Mullen, Chief of Volunteers
