Engadin La Diagonela Summer Challenge, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place last Thursday with an 11km uphill roller ski race in classic technique in Châtel-St-Denis, Switzerland.

After an evening full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Engadin La Diagonela Summer Challenge saw Jeremy Royer, Team Nordic Expérience, and Linn Sömskar, IFK Umeå, winning their respective races.

Engadin La Diagonela Summer Challenge – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner was Jeremy Royer, Team Nordic Expérience, completing the race in a time of 31:14.2.

Candide Pralong, Team Juldide, finished in second place, 4.3 seconds behind the winner, followed by Remi Bourdin, B French Ski Team/Ski Club Frasne-Drugeon, completing the podium in the third position and 29 seconds back.

  2. Candide Pralong, Team Juldide, +4.3

Engadin La Diagonela Summer Challenge – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Linn Sömskar, IFK Umeå, with a total time of 37:24.8. 

Hedda Bångman, Vltava Fund Ski Team, finished in second place, 48 seconds behind the winner, followed by Nadja Kaelin, Swiss Ski, 1:20.6 back, and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Linn Sömskar, IFK Umeå, 37:24.8
  2. Hedda Bångman, Vltava Fund Ski Team, +48.0
