by Leandro Lutz • 15.02.2023
The Ski Classics Challengers event Trysil Skimaraton is a 42km long-distance skiing event in classic technique this Saturday, February 18, in Østby, Norway.

Trysil Skimaraton is a long-distance cross-country skiing race organized for over two decades with excellent tracks and a unique atmosphere. The event takes place in Østby, Trysil, in eastern Norway, close to the Swedish border.

The competition traverses forest areas, countryside, and mountain terrain, with more than 500 skiers participating in the race.

Trysil Skimaraton welcomes Pro Tour and recreational skiers to the start line, and a good atmosphere is expected on the tracks, both for the 42km and the shorter 21km race.

“We have great snow conditions and are really looking forward to the event in the wonderful winter landscape. We expect more than 500 participants from 10 different nationalities,” Event Director Per Ola Haugen says.
