The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event is a 40km long-distance race in classic technique and takes place this Saturday, January 29, for the 60th time in Trysil, Norway.

Since the start, in 1937, the traditional Trysil-Knut Rennet has taken place in the deep forest of Søre Osen. This year, the race starts and finishes at the community center of Søre Osen, and the tracks take you through breathtaking sceneries.

Despite Covid-19 restrictions and difficult snow conditions, the Organizing Committee is ready to welcome recreational and Pro skiers alike.

The Visma Ski Classics Challengers Trysil-Knut Rennet has status as the official seeding race for Vasaloppet and Birkebeinerrennet. It suits well as preparation for Birkebeinerrennet, as the profile is strikingly similar.
