The Ski Classics Challengers event, Craft Ski Marathon, took place this Sunday with a 45km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Grönklitt, Sweden. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Craft Ski Marathon, took place this Sunday with a 45km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Grönklitt, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden, Craft Ski Marathon, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, and Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, won their respective races with solid performances.

Craft Ski Marathon – 45km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, a complete podium for the Ski Classics Pro Team athletes. The winner, Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, completed the race in a time of 2:00:57.3.

Hjalmar Oscarsson, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, 0.2 seconds behind, followed by Markus Hallén Johansson, Offerdals SK, completing the podium in third position and 1.0 seconds back.

  1. Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, 2:00:57.3
  2. Hjalmar Oscarsson, Team Ramudden, +0.2

  4. Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, +1.1
  5. Konrad Mattsson Myhr, Åsarna IK, +4.1

Craft Ski Marathon – 45km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, completing the event in a total time of 2:21:01.2.

Madelene Nord, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team, finished in second place, 3:58.8 back, followed by Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, 4:35.3 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
