Team Robinson Trentino – Pro Team presentation Season XVI

Pro Team
This Italian Pro Team has been around since 2017, making the world of Ski Classics popular among many young people and enthusiasts of all ages in Italy. After securing a top 9 position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XV, the squad is again trying to be the best Central European team.

In the last few years, Bruno Debertolis’ Pro Team has become an international unit with athletes from many different countries. For the upcoming Ski Classics Season XVI, the squad is bringing nine Pro Team athletes, four women and five men, from five countries (Italy, Czech Republic, Norway, USA, and Sweden): Rosie Brennan (1988), Oda Nerdrum (1995), Tereza Hujerová (1998), Michaela Patscheider (1999), Dietmar Nöckler (1988), Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen (1998), Giacomo Ponti (2003), Gustav Eriksson (1991), and Stefano Dal Magro (2000).

This team has succeeded well over the years, and the current lineup is capable of podium places both in the men and women’s races. Rosie Brennan is a US National Team athlete while Dietmar Nöckler represents Italy at the FIS World Cup. Brennan was on the podium at Reistadløpet in 2023 while Nöckler has been among the best 25 male skiers in some Pro Tour races.

Gustav Eriksson knows how to race the legendary Vasaloppet since he has been in the top 20 twice. Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen almost made it to the podium at Grönklitt ITT in 2023 (4th place). Tereza Hujerová and Oda Nerdrum both try to become solid top-20 skiers next season.

“Born in 2017, our Team has contributed to making the world of Ski Classics popular among many young people and many enthusiasts of all ages in Italy,” says Pro Team Director Bruno Debertolis and adds about their goals:

“Our main goal is to continue this path, and for this reason, our efforts are multiplying year after year, and the group is becoming bigger and bigger, which gives the possibility to new generations to try to make their dreams come true. Many champions, Italian and foreign, Olympic and World Medalists, have enjoyed this journey with us. Next season will be full of new talents ready to have fun and enjoy the sun, the mountains, the Italian people, and our incredible Trentino. We have become the most International Team and were the first in the history of Ski Classics to register US athletes.”
