This Swedish Pro Team has been within Ski Classics for many years and is an important part of the Pro Tour. Team Ramudden secured the 3rd position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XIV and is now gearing up for another thrilling winter season ahead.

In anticipation of the upcoming Ski Classics Season XV, Team Ramudden presented a roster of youthful and experienced Pro Team athletes from Sweden and Norway.

TEAM RAMUDDEN

Before last winter, Lina Korsgren announced her retirement, and three more winners in Ski Classics left the squad: Ida Dahl, Max Novak, and Jenny Larsson. For Season XIV, Team Ramudden had to assemble a new Pro Team, and according to Pro Team Director Lina Korsgren in an earlier interview with ProXCskiing.com: “We had to build a largely new team, and I think we had good quality in what we did,” said Korsgren and elaborated about the past season:

“It was a successful season for us. We had stated goals in advance. Alfred (Buskqvist) would go for the Sprint bib, Emilie (Fleten) for her first victory, Herman (Paus) and Amund (Riege) would get the Youth bib, and Ida (Palmberg) would fight for victory in the Pink Youth bib. We could check off three goals with Alfred, Emilie, and Amund. Then, it was very nice that we performed so well and solidly that we led the Pro Team competition all the way to Birken. The fact that we finished third there added some flavor.”

For the upcoming Ski Classics Season XV, Pro Team Director Lina Korsgren kept the same roster as last year: “As for the Ski Classics team, it will look exactly like last season.”

For Season XV, the Swedish squad is bringing six Pro Team athletes (three from Sweden and three from Norway), four men and three women: Johannes Eklöf (1995), Amund Riege (2000), Herman Paus (2000), Alfred Buskqvist (1996), Emilie Fleten (1992), and Ida Palmberg (1999).

Team Ramudden is a powerful unit with experience, youthful vigor, and a craving for great success. They will stay close to the top and will fight for excellent results in the upcoming winter season.
