Jenny Larsson and Anikken Gjerde Alnæs are some of the Team Ragde Charge athletes confirmed for Klarälvsloppet 2023.

Klarälvsloppet, a long-distance rollerski race in Karlstad, Sweden, and part of the Ski Classics Challengers series, announced that Team Ragde Charge had confirmed participation at the 90km classic race on October 1, 2023.

The article continues below.

Klarälvsloppet Post:

“Team Ragde Charge puts a strong team on the starting line in this year’s Klarälvsloppet.

  • Andreas Nygaard
  • Kasper Stadaas
  • Johan Hoel
  • Karstein Johaug
  • Torgeir Sulen Hovland
  • Oskar Opstad Vike
  • Anikken Gjerde Alnæs
  • Jenny Larsson
  • Solveig Lie Stöverud

“Klarälvsloppet is the roller ski race most similar to Vasaloppet. Full distance, easy to help the skiers with poles and drink service. Cool sprints during the race, generous prize money, and fantastic nature are some of the reasons to come to the start,” says Pro Team Director Magnar Dalen.

Klarälvsloppet is a 90km long roller ski event in Karlstad. The event is Sweden’s longest roller ski race, and the course cuts right through the Värmland countryside following the river Klarälven, a 90km paved nature experience.

The race in classic technique welcomes both elite and recreational participation. The 2023 edition is the sixth one taking place, which attracts many of the top athletes in the long-distance skiing world.

There are also 60km and 21km roller ski distances and running and cycling events on the same weekend. The 90km event is seeding for Vasaloppet and is part of the Ski Classics Challengers series.
