This Italian Pro Team enjoys an international flavor as there are five skiers from Italy and one from Spain, Finland, Austria, and Sweden, respectively. After securing the 19th position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XV, Team Internorm Trentino GSG looks forward to the upcoming winter season.

Team Internorm Trentino GSG was born from the experience of the SottoZero television program which has been working with winter sports for over twenty years, created and hosted by the journalist and Pro Team Director Michele Pasqualotto.

After starting in 2016 an amateur ski club, SottoZero Nordic Team, and the affiliation of over 150 recreational long-distance skiers, in the summer of 2019, a big decision was made to broadening its goals and giving life to the Team Internorm Trentino GSG project.

Wearing the colors of this Italian Pro Team for the upcoming Ski Classics Season XVI are nine Pro Team athletes, six men and three women.

“Team Internorm Trentino GSG is an Italian Pro Team from SottoZero Group. It originates from the very popular Italian TV program about Winter Sports (mainly cross-country skiing), whose title is “SottoZero” (Below Zero in free translation), conceived and presented by the journalist Michele Pasqualotto. Team Internorm Trentino will offer the best Italian long-distance skiers the opportunity to take part in Ski Classics. The Pro Team, also called ‘Red Devils,’ currently has Internorm Finestre-Fenster, Trentino, and GSG Sports Wear as main sponsors,” says Pro Team Director Michele Pasqualotto.

This Italian squad can be very strong for Season XVI, and there are solid top 50 athletes. They can all be higher up in the Pro Tour event results on a perfect day and shine brightly during the upcoming winter season.
